Diehl, Evans & Company, LLP is one of the oldest CPA firms in Southern California. Ellis Diehl began his practice in Santa Ana in the 1920s. After several changes, in 1954 the firm’s name became Diehl, Evans and Company. We grew in large part due to the rapid development of Orange County. And because of its many real estate developer clients, the firm became known as one of the experts in real estate taxation and accounting in the County. We have since expanded to also provide auditing and consulting services to clients in almost every industry. We also have developed a strong base of clients among governmental agencies, in both the auditing and consulting arenas.

Philosophy

At Diehl, Evans & Company, LLP every client is important. We promote the “firm concept” whereby clients are served by the firm rather than individuals. This enables us to allocate our staff resources in the most effective manner. We are large enough to have staffing and other resources to service all of your needs, but small enough to provide personal service. You will have a partner and a principal assigned to you who will work together and with you to meet your needs. By providing you with two high level personnel there is always someone available to answer questions, provide service and solve problems. We also strive to produce work that is of the highest quality. We have quality control procedures in place and participate in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants peer review program. Our philosophy can be summarized as follows:
